Our Village Games work in Amber Valley covers Crich, Fritchley, Whatstandwell, South Wingfield, Heage and Denby.

We work with lots of different organisations such as schools, PTA's, Beavers, Day Care Centres, Local Community Centres, Pubs, Sports Clubs, Leisure Centre Staff, Children's Centres, Local Parents, children, teenagers and local people.

As well as giving you the opportunity to participate in sports and physical activity, we understand that not everybody enjoys taking part on that side of the field. There are lots of other ways to get involved with the Village Games Project in Amber Valley and indeed across Derbyshire, including coaching, leadership, providing refreshments, umpiring, administration, IT, marketing.
This project is about getting everyone involved in some way, whether that be on the field, in a community centre or behind the scenes.

Check out the Amber Valley Annual Report which gives a flavour of what happened in Amber Valley in 2011.
